ASB's mission for this volunteer trip is to aid families who have been devastated by natural disasters in the recovery and rebuilding process. Additionally, explore New Orleans’ rich culture!

Peace River Refuge and Ranch: Zolfo Springs, FL

Issue: Exotic Animal Rescue

Description: Help provide care for abused exotic animals at the Peace River Refuge and Ranch. From preparing food for bears or wolves to constructing new habitats for tigers, volunteers will gain a sense of accomplishment as they learn about and provide comfort to the animals.

Description: Lend a helping hand to a population of 900 Native Americans by spreading healthcare awareness, aiding medical staff and working at the Senior Citizen Center with Elders of the Tribe. Interact with and learn about another culture living within Texas!

Bryan's House: Dallas, TX

        Issue: HIV/AIDS/ Children

        Dates: Weekof January 4th-11th

Description: Give children affected by HIV/AIDS a chance to just be kids. Bryan's House is a home away from home, where kids can be free of the burdens of their illness and do things such as read, paint, and climb trees. Come be a friend to these kids and get a chance to play!
